Philosophy
Our goal is to provide a safe and non-threatening atmosphere in which our students can learn basic skills, teamwork, cooperation and gain self-confidence. Our players come to the field with varying levels of skill and experience. It is our job to create practice sessions that both teach the beginner and challenge the experienced, and allow all levels to participate in game situations.
Lower School Program
Children in Grades 2 and 3 are offered a Friday afternoon clinic in soccer, basketball, softball and lacrosse. The clinic runs from 3:15 to 4:15 on specific Fridays throughout the year.
Students in Grades 4 and 5 may participate in our instructional team program which combines competition with skill development. All teams are co-ed and practice on Monday afternoons from 3:15 to 4:45 . Clinics are offered for Soccer, Basketball, Newcomb (a lead-up game to volleyball where the ball is thrown over than net rather ran volleyed) and kickball.
Middle School Program
All after school sports for grades 6, 7 and 8 will be held on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 3:15 to 4:45. Game days will run later. Teams are fielded for hockey, soccer, cross-country, basketball and lacrosse. Students will be grouped together to form one or two squads, depending on the number of players.
