Financial InformationIndian Creek School, like many other private schools, is funded through a combination of tuition, fees, donations, and grants. We are independent in governance and funding. Tuition and fees cover the cost of annual operations, the largest part of which is salaries and benefits for our outstanding faculty and staff. Donations and grants come from a variety of sources including families, the faculty, alumni, alumni parents, corporations, and foundations. These funds support the reinvestment in our program, faculty, and facilities to assure that our program grows and develops according to the best educational research, our philosophy, the ever-changing knowledge landscape, and the needs of our students. TUITIONTuition for the 2011-2012 school year:
Tuition Payment OptionsIndian Creek has partnered with the tuition management system, Smart Tuition. All tuition charges and fees will be billed and paid via this company regardless of which of the payment plans you select. All payments are less the $1,000 deposit.
Tuition Refund PlanTuitions become entirely non-refundable after July 1 with respect to the following school year. To protect families and Indian Creek in the event that a child is unable to complete the school year, all upper school tuitions and tuitions for each student paying through any installment plan are required to enroll in the Tuition Refund Plan. The cost of the plan is .7% of tuition. FINANCIAL AID PHILOSOPHYIn keeping with our Mission, we seek students from various economic backgrounds as part of our diverse community. Financial Aid is available to qualified families of students from Pre-K through Grade 12 to make Indian Creek a viable educational option. The Financial Aid program is designed to bridge gaps that may remain between the tuition and the amount the family can pay after making tuition payment one of their top spending priorities. Application for financial aid is held in strict confidence and has no bearing on admission decisions. APPLYING FOR FINANCIAL AIDFamilies can apply for financial aid using the information provided in the Financial Aid Requirements menu on the right of this page. Indian Creek requires that families apply through the School and Student Services for Financial Aid (SSS) organization and to file a form directly with the school. Application can be made online at www.nais.org/financialaid/sss by following the directions to access SSS resources and choosing Website for Families.
